Kristin Fisher is joining CNN in 2021. The reporter will serve as the Space and Defense Correspondent. In her role as Space and Defence Correspondent for CNN, she has covering everything from NASA and its recently created Space Force up until commercial space companies, and even the advent and growth in space travel. Kristin is mother of NASA astronauts as well as a space enthusiast, grew up immersed within the space industry. She worked for five years working as the White House correspondent for FOX News covering space policy under the Biden and Trump administrations. In this time, she covered the 2020 presidential campaign, two impeachment trial, two efforts to stop the pandemic coronavirus, in addition to two distinct administrations' initiatives. The former president Donald Trump traveled to Afghanistan for a restricted trip. Kristin worked her way through the regional news market of Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, as well as Washington, D.C. for over a decade before joining the CBS network. Kristin was the recipient of the Emmy Award in Washington, D.C. for her work as the CBS affiliate's single-man reporter. With her experience on the set, Kristin created Field Mouse Films in 2014. The company was a specialist in documentary style films for clients of corporate nature, including Uber as well as Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
